Sponsorship for individual categories:

Best Web Design Company
Awarded to the Yorkshire-based web design company the judges consider has shown the most consistent quality in designing websites. Sites designed for non-Yorkshire companies can be included here, as long as they were designed by a Yorkshire-based agency.

Best Not for Profit Website
Awarded to what the judges consider to be the best website produced by a charity, voluntary group, NGO or public sector organisation.

Best Business-to-Business Website
Awarded to what the judges consider to be the most professional business-to-business website. Non-Yorkshire company sites can be submitted, as long as they were designed by a Yorkshire agency. Intranets can also be submitted. The judges will be looking not just at design but also at what commercial benefits the site has brought to the organisation concerned.

Best Business-to-Consumer Website
Awarded to what the judges consider to be the most professional business-to-consumer website, with particular attention given to e-commerce sites. Non-Yorkshire company sites can be submitted, as long as they were designed by a Yorkshire agency. The judges will be looking not just at design but also at what commercial benefits the site has brought to the organisation concerned.

Best Use of Broadband Technology
Awarded to the organisation that can most convincingly show how it has used broadband technology to improve its commercial performance. It does not matter if the technology used was not created in Yorkshire, as long as the company using it is based here.

Best Newcomer
Awarded to what the judges consider to be the most successful Yorkshire-based digital company that has been running for less than three years.

Best Designer
Awarded to the Yorkshire-based individual site designer who the judges consider to have shown the most consistent quality over the past 12 months. Limit on number of sites that can be submitted, as long as they all went live in the past 12 months. Sites produced for non-Yorkshire companies can also be submitted - only the designer needs to be based in Yorkshire.

Best Entertainment Site
Awarded to the site aimed purely at entertainment that the judges consider to be the most professionally executed while remaining the most fun to use.

Best Innovation
Awarded to what the judges consider to be the most innovative new development in web technology produced by a Yorkshire company. Judges will be considering developments like podcasts and innovation on non-web platforms.
